On April 10, 15, and 17, Frontier Science and Social Co-creation Initiative organized a "Owari-cho Town Walking Tour and Roundtable Discussion" by the project team as a part of Project: AERU (*), a collaborative project with the Owari-cho Shopping Arcade, to promote the attractiveness of the town and let people know about this project. A total of 19 students participated in the three-day event.
On each day, participants set out on a town walk guided by project members. The participants experienced the charms of Owari-cho while listening to explanations about the history and architecture of the town. Afterwards, participants deepened their understanding of the project through an introduction of the project and a round-table discussion at the Owari-cho Long-established Store Exchange Center with members of the Owari-cho shopping arcade.
The project team will cooperate with the shopping district residents and exchange opinions on the "Anyato Festival" to be held in the town on August 23 and the effective use of the Owari-cho Long-established Store Exchange Center, and will widely promote the attractiveness of the shopping district through plans to attract many people.
